Activity: The NTNU University Museum is a Natural and Cultural History museum located at Kalvskinnet in Trondheim. Ringve botanical garden is also part of the museum.
The Museum also includes the Department of Natural History, the Department of Archeology and Cultural History and The National Laboratory for Age Determination. Our scientific collections, long-term series and the material from archaeological excavation are often the starting point for research.
The NTNU University Museum is responsible for cultural heritage management in Central Norway. This involves archaeological investigations, conservation and preservation of objects.
